Dato' Ting Heng Peng, male, Malaysian, 63, was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Daythree Digital Berhad on 25 August 2022.

In 1982, he graduated from University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons). Upon graduation, he went to England and obtained his Bachelor of Law (Hons) at the University of Essex in 1985. He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1985 and was called to the Degree of an Utter Barrister in the following year. He has over 35 years of working experience in the field of corporate and commercial litigation since he was admitted to the Malaysian bar in 1987. He is currently the managing partner of Messrs Ting Asiah & Co.

Dato' Ting is also a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Supermax Corporation Berhad and Independent Non-Executive Director of Mercury Industries Berhad, both listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.

Raymond is the Founder & Managing Director of Daythree. He specialises in providing strategic management direction, particularly in the field of digital transformation strategy & management.

He holds a Master of Business Administration majoring in Strategy & Planning. A Chartered Accountant registered with CPA Australia and Malaysian Institute of Accountants, he has strong working and practical knowledge in finance & accounting.

Raymond is the author of several articles and research papers. He was twice selected by peers in the industry as ‘Best Thought Leader' in 2017, and once again in 2019 – an award reserved for recognising leadership aimed at external positioning of the individual's competencies in delivering value.

Raymond presently serves as President of Contact Centre Association of Malaysia. He serves as Treasurer of the Digital Global Business Services Council of Malaysia (GBS Malaysia) and chairs its Research Committee. Under his leadership, the Committee published Malaysia's Global Business Services (GBS) Strategy Report for 2022- 2027. Raymond serves as Councillor of PIKOM, the National Tech Association of Malaysia, and is also a member of its Research Committee. His role in these national industry associations is to provide his expert opinion and recommendation for the development and growth of Malaysia as a high-value digital GBS hub.

Given his in-depth knowledge and expertise in digital technology industry, Raymond was appointed to MDEC's Talent Expert Network Panel and Grant Recommendation Committee to provide his expert advice, industry inputs, and recommendation related to digital technology talent development in Malaysia.

As a way to give back to the community, Raymond serves as an Adjunct Mentor at INTI International University & Colleges, allowing him to encourage students, help them develop their skills, and build their confidence.

Above all, he is a sports enthusiast and has a deep passion for music.

Gan Jhia Jhia, female, Malaysian, 50, was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Daythree Digital Berhad on 25 August 2022. She is a member of the Remuneration Committee of the Board of Daythree.

Ms Gan graduated from University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1995. She has over 27 years of experience in the banking and finance sectors specialising in the structuring of corporate loans and transactions, including business collaboration, joint-venture, sales and leaseback, finance arrangements, and mergers and acquisitions. She began her career in corporate banking in RHB Bank Berhad as a management trainee and eventually as Manager, where she manages a portfolio of multi-national corporations.

In 2008, she joined Choizen group and eventually served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Services, where she is responsible for the group's corporate strategy and corporate services matter.

Azlina Binti Abdullah, female, Malaysian, 59, was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Daythree Digital Berhad on 25 August 2022. She is the Chairwoman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee, and Remuneration Committee of the Board of Daythree.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, United States in December 1988. She has over 28 years of working experience in the banking industry. From 1989 to 1992, she began her career in AFMB Holding Berhad, as a Branch Credit Officer. She subsequently joined EON Bank Berhad as a Corporate Banking Officer and left as the Unit Head of Corporate banking from 1992 to 2000. For the next 17 years, she held multiple position in Affin Bank Berhad, a company listed on Bursa Malaysia, such as Manager (Commercial Banking III) and Head of Public Sector Department, Corporate Banking.

Puan Azlina holds a Master in Islamic Finance Practice from INCEIF University.

Syed Izmi Bin Syed Kamarul Bahrin, male, Malaysia, 52, was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Daythree Digital Berhad on 25 August 2022. He is a member of the Nomination Committee of the Board of Daythree.

He has more than 28 years of working experience in the area of corporate finance, investment and fund management. From 1994 to 1997, he was an Executive in the Corporate Finance Division of Petroliam Nasional Berhad. He subsequently joined Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad and left as an Assistant Manager, Corporate Finance from 1997 to 2000. For over the next 9 years, he held various positions in MSC Venture Corporation Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of MDEC, including investment manager and Acting Chief Executive Officer, where he was responsible for evaluating and undertaking investments in ICT related companies.

In 2016, he joined Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputra ("TERAJU"), a strategic unit under the Prime Minister's Department of Malaysia as its Director of Strategy & Stakeholder Management. During his tenure there, he was responsible for developing and implementing the Bumiputera strategic roadmaps under the 11th and 12th Malaysian Plan. Syed Izmi founded Centennial Capital Management and Mekar Capital in 2021, where he evaluates investment proposals and undertaking investments in companies involved in the ICT and healthcare sectors.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from University of Exeter, United Kingdom in July 1994. He obtained a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from ACCA in September 1995 and a Certificate in Legal Practice from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia in February 1997.

Syed Izmi was appointed as an Executive Director of Perbadanan Wakaf Nasional Berhad, an endowment fund and wholly-owned subsidiary of Yayasan Wakaf Malaysia in 2022.

Leong Chooi Kuen, female, Malaysian, 56, was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Daythree Digital Berhad on 25 August 2022. She is the Chairwoman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board of Daythree.

She has approximately 34 years of working experience in the field of accounting, finance, taxation and auditing. In 1992, she completed the Professional Accounting Examinations under MICPA and qualified as a Certified Public Accountant.

From 1988 to 1996, she served as an auditor in an international accounting firm where she was focused in auditing and taxation. Thereafter, she joined United Malayan Land Bhd and currently serves as the General Manager for corporate tax planning and compliance, treasure, corporate planning, investor relation, internal audit and risk management.

Ms Leong is a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia.

Woon Tai Hai, male, Malaysian, 66, was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Daythree Digital Berhad on 25 August 2022. He is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee, and Nomination Committee of the Board of Daythree.

He has approximately 40 years of working experience in IT and risk management. He spent the first 11 years of his career in Australia before returning to Malaysia in 1993 to join a local systems integrator and solution provider, responsible for managing the Banking and Finance and General Accounting Unit. Thereafter, for the next 15 years, he joined KPMG Management and Risk Consulting until 2013. Mr Woon held various position, as a director of the Enabling Technology division and eventually a Consulting Principal, where he led a multi-disciplinary team in assisting MNC, SME and government agencies. From 2014 to 2017, he served as the Executive Director of BDO Consulting.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from University of New South Wales, Australia in 1982. He also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance with Credit in May 1989 and Master of Business Administration in October 1992 from University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.

Mr Woon is also a Director of Takaful Ikhlas Family Berhad and Takaful Ikhlas General Berhad. Additionally, he holds various position as advisor of PIKOM and Malaysia Australia Business Council.
